Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid
The Pacifica Hybrid is a combination electric-gasoline hybrid and is the seventh model option now available in the Pacifica lineup. The hybrid includes a plug-in port in the front for convenient charging of the vehicle battery fuel cell, which can provide up to 33 miles of all-electric travel. It also includes many of the standard features already found in the Touring models, with optional upgrade packages available.
Pacifica Fuel Efficiencies
The gasoline-only engine found in the Touring Plus provides an estimated 28 mpg on the highway, with an estimated 18 mpg in the city, for a combined 22 mpg fuel efficiency rating. This is an improvement over the 2016 Chrysler Town and Country minivan fuel efficiencies, which only provided 25 mpg on the highway, 17 mpg in the city, and a combined 20 mpg fuel efficiency rating.
The Pacifica Hybrid has a fuel rating of 84 mpg-e with a combined fuel rating (gasoline plus electric) for both highway and city driving of 32 mpg. As such, the Pacific Hybrid is rated as the top fuel-efficient minivan on the market today, with the gasoline-only Pacific models being rated also as leading fuel efficient minivans for this vehicle class.
Pacifica Safety Ratings
All Chrysler Pacific minivans, including the new Touring Plus model and the Hybrid model, received an overall five-star rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), with a four-star rollover rating, as well as five-star ratings for:

NOTE: A “good” rating is the highest level the IIHS uses when rating safety features on vehicles.
